distant memories replay in black and white our reunion brings them to colour; colour-full
of tentative rage and misapprehension - you condescend to kiss me - i compromise to touch ...
it was too much for the past to bear, time stood still but my elephantine memory refuses motion -
won't relinquish - 'til now.  the colours fade to grey.  i cannot stay.
